Photo of Katy Tanis
Katy Tanis is a illustrator, writer and jungle explorer. She splits her time between working in her San Francisco studio and traveling to exotic ecosystems all over the world. Her artwork celebrates the world’s wildlife, focusing on evolution, taxonomy and biogeography. She has a soft spot for weird creatures and tertiary colors. She volunteers with many conservation organizations – the most memorable was working with orphaned orangutans in Malaysian Borneo.
