CLOSED SF/South A Golden Gate Year Scholarship

Our new SF/South scholarship will award a “Golden Ticket” to two SCBWI members.
The scholarship will give two recipients access to all the keynotes, masterclasses, and presentations included in the Golden Ticket. Optional extras such as critiques and roundtables are not included. Read more about the conference here.

The scholarships will be awarded in two categories: equity and inclusion, and financial need.

You are eligible if:

─ You are a SF/South member

AND you qualify under one of the following:

Equity & Inclusion:  Awarded to creators who identify as part of a community that has been traditionally marginalized by the publishing industry. This includes, but is not limited to: race/ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender and gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, citizenship, veteran status, and religion. Financial Need: You have a financial need.

Deadline for applications: CLOSED December 31, 2020.

This award is open to SCBWI members who live in the SF/South region (the San Francisco/South region consists of the city and county of San Francisco and all coastal counties south to Monterey, including San Benito and Santa Clara.)

Please complete this form to apply. We will let you know if you have been awarded a scholarship by January 7 2021. If you have already paid for a Golden Ticket we will reimburse you the cost up to $100.
